Information for Tenants Useful Information for Tenants Step 1 - Viewing our properties Simply phone or call in and we will arrange a time suit you. You will need to have shown us some identification by the time you book your viewings for security purposes. EG: Passport, driving licence plus utility bill. When viewing your chosen properties you will be accompanied by a member of our staff who will be there to answer any questions you may have.
Step 2 - Securing your home Once you have found the right property all you need to do is complete an application form. We will then process your application. If you are a student, retired or unemployed you will need a guarantor. Once we have received satisfactory references and credit checks you will be ready to move in.
Step 3 - Moving in On the day you move into the property you will need to pay one month's rent in advance and a bond which is the equivalent of one month's rent.
RENT - Your rent is payable monthly in advance by standing order, cheque or cash.BOND - This is money that you pay to cover the cost of any breakages or damage during your time in the property. It is equal to the first month's rent and will then be refunded to you at the end of your tenancy minus any necessary deductions to cover damages. This is held by the Deposit Protection Scheme
GUARANTORS If you are a student, retired or unemployed you will need a guarantor. Each guarantor will need to complete an application form and undertake employer's reference and credit checks. They will also need sign a Guarantor Agreement prior to your moving in date.
NON-MANAGED LETTINGS Where Bridlington Home Rentals are not responsible for the management of the tenancy you will be given the landlord's contact details.
